香港遊艇會首辦龍舟賽

KELLETT ISLAND CUP

The Kellett Island Cup, the first dragon boat race to be held right in front of the Kellett Island Clubhouse was successfully held on Sunday 28 June 2020 with 49 entries from a total of 16 clubs. The Club's own Royal X was crowned Champion in the Women’s Category also brought home the 2nd runner-up in the Open Category, and the 3rd runner-up in the Mixed Category!

「Kellett Island Cup」以「小龍」進行，分女子、公開及混合組別舉行，賽道為200米直線賽道，每個組別均設初賽、準決賽及決賽。

賽事共錄得49支來自16個體育會的本地及居港外籍龍舟好手參賽，比賽由早上8時正展開，經過一番龍爭虎鬥，直至下午5時，終於為上述三個組別決出勝負。在主場之利下，香港遊艇會的龍舟健兒贏得女子組冠軍，另於公開組摘下季軍，以及混合組名列殿軍。至於「霸士龍」隊及「巨猩」隊就分別在公開賽及混合組別稱王。
